Vacuum-insulated hot water boilers and bulk filter coffee brewers. BRU F45M and F60M in stock in Belgrade.

Our principles

Why professionals choose Marco

An engineering approach to hot water, energy and hygiene, refined over four decades.

  • Irish engineering

In 1980 Marco built the first water boiler manufactured in Ireland, in Dublin. Design and production are still in-house today.

  • Vacuum insulation

The tank behaves like a thermos: heat stays inside instead of radiating into the room. That is where the energy saving comes from.

  • Controlled quality

Both manufacturing plants, in Dublin and Ningbo, operate to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

  • Support from Belgrade

Delivery, paperwork and consumables through HoReCa Shop, with no importing on your own.

Marco technology and sustainability

Technology

Vacuum insulation instead of constant reheating

A conventional boiler radiates heat into the space and then pays to put it back with electricity. Marco solved that with a vacuum-insulated tank: the water holds its working temperature and the element cycles far less often. The same principle runs through the whole Ecoboiler and MIX generation.

Sustainability

Certified B Corp since 2024

Marco became a Certified B Corporation in January 2024 with a B Impact Score of 91.2, up from 53 at the start of the process. Over the same period the company reported a 54% reduction in CO₂ emissions. For an operator that means a supplier who survives scrutiny in tenders and ESG reporting.

Energy efficiency

A saving you see on the bill, not in the cup

Marco starts from a simple premise: the cheapest energy is the energy you never used. Instead of fitting a bigger element, the company worked on stopping heat leaving the tank at all. Vacuum insulation means the boiler runs in shorter, less frequent cycles while dispense temperature stays steady through the busiest service. For a venue trading twelve hours a day, that difference is measured monthly, not theoretically.

Where it fits

Where the BRU series earns its place

A bulk brewer makes sense anywhere coffee is poured in batches rather than cup by cup.

  • Cafés and bakeries

Filter coffee alongside the espresso menu without tying up a barista. One cycle covers the morning peak.

  • Restaurants and catering

Coffee for a whole table or a whole event at once, served from an Airpot with no warming plate.

  • Hotels and breakfast service

A buffet that tastes the same for the first guest and the last.

  • Offices and break rooms

Self-service without trained staff: manual fill, no plumbed water connection.

Alongside the brewer

Water is half the quality of filter coffee

Filter coffee is over 98% water, so scale and chlorine from the mains shape the taste as much as the bean does. Before you order a brewer, look at water treatment too: it is the cheapest way to extend the life of the element.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about Marco equipment

Not finding your answer? Write to us and we reply within the working day.

What is the Marco BRU series, and how does it differ from an espresso machine?

BRU is a bulk brewer: it brews a full vessel of filter coffee at once rather than cup by cup. It needs no trained barista and no plumbed water connection because it is filled by hand, and a cycle takes about eight minutes. A BRU does not replace an espresso machine. In most venues they work together, espresso for the bar, BRU for breakfast service, catering and office volume.

Which one should I choose, the F45M or the F60M?

The F60M has a 2.2 L reservoir and over 90 cups an hour; the F45M has 1.8 L and around 75 cups. Worth knowing: the F45M lists higher despite being smaller, because two glass carafes are included, while the F60M is sold without a vessel. If you already have carafes or plan to use an Airpot, the F60M works out cheaper; if you are starting from nothing, the F45M is a complete set.

Do you sell Marco water boilers (Ecoboiler, Ecosmart, MIX, FRIIA)?

Not from regular stock. We source Marco boilers to order. Send an enquiry with the model, or just describe the need (instant draw-off in litres, cups at peak, undercounter or countertop) and you get a quote with a lead time. What is in stock right now is the BRU F45M, the BRU F60M and their accessories.

Do I need a water filter with the brewer?

Almost always. Filter coffee is over 98% water, so chlorine and scale act directly on the taste, and deposits shorten the life of the element. We carry BWT filtration and water softeners. The simplest approach is to send us your water hardness along with the brewer enquiry.

How long is delivery, and do you ship outside Belgrade?

For the Marco items held in stock the lead time is 14–21 working days, and we deliver across Serbia. For equipment sourced to order we confirm the lead time in the quote, since it depends on the model and on availability at the manufacturer.

Do you work with companies and VAT?

Yes. We trade in line with the law, issue VAT invoices and prepare supporting documents for companies. For larger purchases and multi-site groups there is a B2B portal with dedicated terms.

How are service and spare parts handled?

Service and parts run through HoReCa Shop, so you never deal with importing or with contacting the manufacturer yourself. Report a fault to our phone number or e-mail and we coordinate from there.

Which filter paper fits the BRU brewers?

Pourover Small flat-bottom filters, in packs of 1000, and they fit both the BRU F45 and the BRU F60. We hold them in stock, so the practical move is to order them together with the brewer.
